80s Rewind is a project photographing the 1980s era with scenes I created within the frame to show a glimpse of what it was like in the 80s through popular pop culture props. I wanted to create this project because, in my opinion, I see the 80s era as the most amazing time to be alive. I believe the music, movies, fashion, and technology is absolutely incredible because I see many people implement it in their everyday life. The way I wanted to capture my work is in the style of still life and commercial. I love the challenge of telling a story through props that give the hint of a cinematic feel. The main intended audience would be the viewers who grew up in the 80s to feel nostalgia. I also believe all ages will appreciate the imagery by imagining themselves in the era through the photos.
